We are delighted to share that Sandytots nursery have raised over £3,000 for charity Katharine House Hospice, in memory of Hannah Mary Wetton.
Hannah’s Sandytots teammates, alongside her friends and family, participated in the Alton Towers 5K, while others honoured her memory by completing the Alton Towers Half Marathon.
We are touched that so many people came together to do something wonderful in memory of our Hannah Mary. Currently the total amount raised for Katharine House Hospice is an impressive £3,395! We are beyond grateful that we were able to raise such a significant amount for a charity that provided exceptional care and support to Hannah when she needed it most.
Who are Katherine House Hospice?
Katharine House Hospice enables patients with life limiting conditions to live life as fully as possible and make the most of the time that they have, as well as supporting their loved ones.
Their care is entirely free, delivered wherever and whenever it is needed most—whether in the community, at home, or within their hospice. This charity relies heavily on the kindness and generosity of the local community to fund the majority of their essential free care services. We are beyond thrilled to have raised such a significant amount, enabling them to continue providing the same exceptional support to other patients that they so generously offered to Hannah.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and shared our fundraising efforts. We originally set out with a goal of raising £500, but surpassing £3,000 is testament to the countless lives Hannah touched and inspired. Your incredible support has made this achievement possible, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
